Master of Divinity

If you love God's Word and have a passion for spreading the Gospel, then explore the transforming journey through our Master of Divinity (MDIV) program!

When you take your first steps toward the MDIV, you embark on a life-changing and inspiring course. Along the way, you'll broaden your understanding of the Bible, deepen your knowledge of history and theology, and expand your confidence, conviction, character, and communication skills.

Earning an MDIV provides you with the credentials often required to serve in a church or as a chaplain. Some also use this degree to pursue teaching ministry in the church or in higher education. That's why Evangelical Seminary offers five concentrations-so you have the opportunity to focus on a particular area of ministry. Our specific concentrations include:

You'll enjoy interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. Some come immediately to Evangelical from their undergraduate studies; others are pursuing a second career. International students bring their unique perspectives to the seminary classroom as well. With their diverse backgrounds, the faculty will become some of your most trusted companions along the way, challenging you to seek God's truth in all areas.
