Bill Riley has been an active duty Navy Chaplain for the last 10 years, serving in California, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, during anti-piracy operations and with Marines in Africa.
"Without a doubt, the best part of my job is the challenge, and the opportunity to come alongside our men and women serving their country and remind them of God's great love," Bill says. "Being a military Chaplain provides a rare opportunity of trust. There is no better vocation to have, than to help Sailors and Marines, along with their families."
Bill currently serves as one of two pastors at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif., where he also teaches ethics. He holds a Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary.
"I have been very privileged to be able to wear my country's uniform and to know that I share in a ministry which continues to have so much positive impact in the lives of our nation's brightest and bravest," he says.
